Thursday, July 9th, 2009

Victor Chandler has signed a deal with Nottingham Forest Football Club. The bookies have signed a reported 6 figure sum deal with the club to sponsor them for one year.

The team is currently in the second tier of the championship and was previously sponsored by Nottingham based Capital One, in a 5 year deal that finished last season.

The deal means that Victor Chandler will appear on the first team, reserves and replica kits for both home and away.

Notts forest CEO Mark Arthur said of the deal, “It’s Victor Chandler’s first step in to football (sponsorship). We’ll have to see what they think of football and of Nottingham Forest. We’ll also have to see how they are perceived in our fan base and the type of sponsor they end up being. It’s the largest investment Victor Chandler have made in the world of football and we’re honoured they have chosen to link-up with us.”

Notts Forest’s next game is to be played on Saturday 11th July at 8pm against Sporting CP. Their opponents are favourite to win with odds from Coral in at 8/15 with odds for a draw in at 12/5, odds for Forest to win the game are 9/2.
